Billy Young

Born and raised in Buffalo, keyboardist Billy Young spent 22 years with the original Gap Band, appearing on every recording from Gap Band IV-VIII and also such recordings as Round Trip, Live & Well and Y2K Funkin’ Till 2000 Come. He has also worked with other artists on the Gap Band’s label Total Experience, including Yarbrough & Peoples, Penny Ford and Will King. His resume includes Stevie Wonder, Eddie Murphy, Ramsey Lewis, Earth, Wind & Fire, Pebbles, Boz Skaggs and Snoop Dogg.
